I got the chance to interview one of the winningest coaches in West Side history, Coach Fry, and one of the football players, Samir Ahsan. As the interview carried on into the overarching themes of the 2017-18 football season, I was taken aback by how positive the whole football team was; they were motivated from the past season and looked to uphold the growing reputation of West Lafayette football. Now that this year’s season is over, the players and coaches alike are thinking about the next season–about the areas they look to replicate from this season and those that they look to improve. Here’s what they had to say about it.
