Cooper Williams

As a top runner in the state Cooper Williams is looked to as a leader on not only his team but from other teams in the area.  “Really i just go out and run and try to improve myself and help improve the team.”   On a team that is defending a state title the team has high hopes on the season as the whole team is working hard for each and every meet.

Cooper sat out two races recently due to a foot issue and was wearing a boot to compress his leg.  Williams said, “It started hurting after a race and got worse so i decided sitting out a couple races now is better than missing meets late in the year or even worse our run for state.”

As Williams works hard and tries to stay healthy he is certainly a runner the team will need for a late season run.
