RAIN WON’T STOP THIS PARADE!

WL MARCHES DOWN THE STREETS OF U FARMS

No one would imagine that rain, wind, or cloudy skies would come in the way of this blissful afternoon. The parade was the right start to an eventful weekend. The homecoming nominees Abby Hummels, Katie Crawford,  Madeline Lynam,  Rebekah Chatterjee, Abby Rhodes,  Jacob Richardson, Sebastian Trent, Hawk Pusey, JongJin Park, and Addison Jordan; juniors Rachel Cooper and Christopher Yu; sophomores Christina Shi and Benny Zhang; and freshman Hailey Mansfield and Noah Stenburg all had to walk instead of riding in the elite cars as usual. “I thought today was really fun, from the pep session rally to the parade to the game.”  said, Paige Hilleboe, 10.

So many clubs joined together and marched down the streets of University Farms. “The parade made me feel like I’m a part of a big family and it was fun marching down with friends.” said, Chun Lu, 10.  Everyone marching seemed to have a great time as candies were thrown around and smiles were exchanged. “It was an interesting experience despite the rain” said Arwa Iqbal, 11.
