Total money raised: $8,132.95
Where the money goes: areas of need at the hospital, such as Child Life (“Play Therapy”), research, and speciality clinical areas.
Riley Representative: Robyn Burroughs, dance marathon coordinator
Number of participating high schools and colleges throughout the state: 60
Money raised by dance marathons this year: Just over $2 million
Special guests from Riley– Braedon Upchurch (age 9), Anna Plake (age 11)
Performers: Perfect Pitches acapella group, Priority Male acapella group, SheDevils dance team
DJs: MDBK
Featured activities: Learning a line dance featuring popular songs including Party Rock Anthem and The Circle of Life, playing Twister and basketball, creating cards and a handprint banner for kids at Riley.
