V-Day not that hard
I should probably start this article with the disclaimer that it isn’t necessarily the best idea to take relationship advice from me. Not because I’m extremely bad at it, but because really, why bother? Holidays shouldn’t exactly be the end of the world.
Valentine’s Day can be tough. You need to find something both sufficiently creative and caring to give as a gift, and that is not always easy. Pay attention though, I know half of the things I ever say in my life are just me complaining about things that I don’t have. Most people, will, at one point or another, straight up tell you what they want before Valentine’s Day actually rolls around.
Not everyone enjoys Valentine’s Day. Some people think it’s the latest in a long line of commercialized holidays that have lost their true meaning and need to return to their roots. Are they right? I have no idea, and it honestly doesn’t matter to me. Just go along with what ever your significant other thinks. Is it really to much work to buy flowers one day of the year? The idea is just to do something nice, sure you could go on some crusade against gift card companies, but do you really need the ten dollars a gift card would cost?
